Guided sightseeing of Tallinn`s Medieval Old Town with the visit to Kadriorg Palace and lunch

 

Our tour guide and coach will meet the group at the port for the transfer to the Meieval Old Town of Tallinn.
 
The walking sightseeing of the Medieval Old Town starts from the Toompea Hill, where the beautiful Aleksandr Nevski Cathedral and Toompea Castle are located.

Aleksandr Nevski Cathedral - the large, richly decorated Orthodox church, in mixed historicist style, was built in 1900, when Estonia was part of the Russian tsarist empire.

Toompea Castle was built in the 13th to the 14th centuries, and is situated on the steep limestone coast, 50 meters above sea level. It is one of the most potent symbols of reigning power, conquered over the centuries by various nations. Today the House of Parliament is situated there.

The sightseeing will continue its way passing most of the Old town`s remarkable sights, such as St.Catherine`s passage, Dominician Monastery Museum, the Town Hall etc.

Free time in the Old Town - time for shopping, walking or just sitting in one of the fabulous Old Town Cafe, where you can admire the authentic atmosphere of the medieval old town.

The tour guide and coach will meet the group at Toompea for departure to Viimsi peninsula - 15 km of beautiful seaside drive outside Tallinn.

Lunch in Viimsi, in the restaurant “Paat”. It is a seaside restaurant with a beautiful view of siluett of Tallinn. The restaurant is next to the see and surrounded with beautiful walking area.

Transportation to the Kadriorg Palace. Sightseeing in the Kadriorg Palace - the palace was built by Peter the Great at the 18th century, who wanted to built his own copy of Versailles`. Today there is also a Foreign Art Museum.

Our coach transfer will take the group back to the port.
