The maritime city of Tallinn is a place where east and west and Northern and Central European cultures meet.

Over the centuries it has generated many legends, which we want to share with Europe in 2011. Writers, musicians, artists and actors will be telling tales of the seashore about Estonia and its people, war and peace, high technology and the untamed sea - and these stories will travel far.
